An object that draws channel lines based on the price values on the chart.

Namespace: RightEdge.Common.ChartObjects
Assembly: Common (in Common.dll) Version: 2010.1.0.0 (2010.1.0.0)

Syntax

C#
[SerializableAttribute]
public class ChartDownTrendChannel : ChartRegressionBase
Visual Basic
<SerializableAttribute>
Public Class ChartDownTrendChannel
	Inherits ChartRegressionBase
Visual C++
[SerializableAttribute]
public ref class ChartDownTrendChannel : public ChartRegressionBase
F#
[<SerializableAttribute>]
type ChartDownTrendChannel =
    class
        inherit ChartRegressionBase
    end

Remarks

This object is not a free form channel. It uses the price data on the chart to determine the direction of the lines. The first point is the left point. The second point specifies the right point of the channels.

Examples

Create a downtrend channel object programmatically (C#)
 Copy imageCopy
// Setup our X coordinates.
DateTime leftPoint = DateTime.Now.AddDays(-14);
DateTime rightPoint = DateTime.Today;

// Create the downtrend channel object
ChartDownTrendChannel channel = new ChartDownTrendChannel(new ChartPoint(leftPoint, 25.00),
                                                new ChartPoint(rightPoint, 25.00),

// Add this object to the chart. "symbol" would equal the current symbol object in the system.
ChartObjects.Add(symbol, channel);
