Chaikin Money Flow Indicator

The Chaikin Money Flow indicator developed by Marc Chaikin, is used to confirm a bullish or bearish trend. This indicator may also be useful to detect reversals when there is divergence between the price and CMF line. Readings of less than 0 are considered bearish. If a stock is in an uptrend with readings below 0, this may be a sign of weakness or an end to the trend. Marc Chaikin considers a reading below -0.25 to be indicative of strong selling pressure. Conversely, a reading above +0.25 is considered to be indicative of strong buying pressure.
