The following statement has worked in the past:

System.Diagnostics.Debugger.Launch();
Now it give this error message: "No suitable JIT debugger is registered."
Is there a way to get this working again?

Thanks.

I thought I would 'bump' this just to see if anyone knows of a (simple) answer as to how to get 'launching' a debugger working, which apparently requires some act of registering, perhaps the "MS CLR Debugger"?. (That is, this no longer seems to work: http://www.rightedgesystems.com/forums/Topic2063-12-4.aspx#bm11897.)
What do I need to do? Thanks.

This is a footnote on this topic. There is no SDK with frameworks later than 2.0, which previously provided the sought debugging capability. However, that capability is now included in the Windows SDK. In particular, under the Start menu this SDK provides Debugging tools for Windows, including WinDbg. WinDbg will present a GUI and one of the options is "Attach to a process . . .". I have not pursued this beyond this point but it looks like this probably provides an alternative to starting debugging under VS Express, if anyone is interested.
