Hi there!
Somehow I cannot make sense of such indicators -you know, they have period 1 (assume that is related to the EMA) and period 2 ( assume that is related to the ATR). But when you draw the bands, the ATR (ATR pane) and the ema -the whole thing makes no sense (e.g. the range between bands is larger than ATR).
By chance, could you please be so kind to throw some light on such stuff?
Thanks in advance!

The RightEdge Keltner indicators use SMAs, not EMAs.  The center line is the SMA using period2 of the average of the high, low, and close for each bar.  The distance above or below the center line is the SMA using period1 of (high - low) for each bar.

Thanks,
Daniel

Dear Daniel,
thanks indeed!
You are quite right -original definition out of Keltner's book.
I wish you peace, prosperity and a jolly good 2016!!
