getting error after I added a custom plugin

I just added a historical data retrieval plugin to pull data out of my SQL database.  After I configured the service, I get the following error as soon as I right click on a watchlist folder:
An exception of type System.NullReferenceException was thrown.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I'm sure it has to do with my plugin, but I can't for the life of me figure out why.

Probably you need to return false from the plugin's SymbolSourceAvailable property.  See here for more information:
