Hi!,

I'm running RightEdge with Norgate Data for Russell 3000 Index without survivorship bias (>10,000 stocks). I understand it needs to load a lot of data to memory before starting any calculation, but RightEdge takes more than 30 minutes in the 'Initializing' step below. I have done many tricks to make it faster, like having the SSD drive, 64 bit machine, disabling the antivirus, etc, but the slow loading time is there. The task manager shows it's running some method in the BaseClasses.cs

Am I doing something wrong, or this is normal?  
What is RE actually doing?   The data gets loaded to memory very slowly and gradually.
