| Hi, I wanna the RE can store the tick data when I trading. How many tick data can RE store? If the tick data store will delay the trading respone speed? Should I store the data in different way to protect? King Regards

Yes, RightEdge can store tick data. If you right click on a symbol folder, you can specify whether or not tick data is stored. The store is theoretically limitless, but the more data the more things slow down. The response depends on a number of things. How much data, how fast your PC is, what your trading system is doing between each tick, how much data is coming in and so on.

| So can I store these tick data to other folder which will not make RE slow down? My system will not use the history data, but I wanna store some for backtesting. billb (3/8/2010)

You can store tick data and it may slow RightEdge down. Again it depends on how much data, what else the system is doing, etc.
