Hello,
As I look forward to start automating my trading with RE , here is my first question :
In your help manual that came with the evaluation you mention Microsoft.NET ver 2.0 and C# ver 2.0.
Presently they have reached ver 4
Also in the forums you referred to Visual Studio 2005. Available now from Microsoft are Visual Studio 2008 and 2010 editions.
In order to write my own indicators and systems, can I use these latest versions or it might create problems with RE?
Please let me know,
Thanks,
Florian

It sounds like some of our documentation is outdated.

RightEdge currently runs on .NET 3.5. The latest release of .NET is 4, and we will upgrade RightEdge to support .NET 4 in the next major version at the latest. You can currently use either Visual Studio 2008 or 2010 with RightEdge. With 2010, if you create a DLL project from scratch, you will need to set the target framework version to .NET 3.5.

Let us know if you have any questions or run into problems.

Thanks,
Daniel
