| I admit to being and EXTREME NEWBE and here is my question. I have been able to "trip" RE into debuging in VS2010 By the If dbg = True ThenSystem.Diagnostics.Debugger.Launch() End Ifprocedure then setting dbg = false in VS ...etc .... Is this REALLLLY the best way to do it? seems really circuitous.

Under the "How Do I?" section of the RightEdge documentation/help, there is a "Debug RightEdge Trading Systems With Visual Studio" section. Take a look and see if that helps you.
Thanks,
Daniel

| Daniel : Followed your directions and the Documentation did not show any reference to Debug (not did a search for Debug): Please advise. Sorry for my lack of understanding. Regards

Click on the plus sign next to the "How Do I?" on the left of the screen and the topic should be there.

| Daniel: Guess I'm dense.... but, as I mentioned the only references using search of the PDF to debug (3 occurances ) have to do with setting debug info check box and, as you can see below, there are no references to debug with the "How Do I" is expanded. Not quite sure what I missing here?

Did you download the help from the website? It looks like that is out of date. Make sure you have the latest build of RightEdge and look in the help documents installed with RightEdge in the installation directory (you can also get to this help from the help menu in RightEdge).
Sorry for the confusion
Thanks,
Daniel

| Although there is no reference in the How Do I section to debuging in VS, a scan of the Latest PDF for "Debug" found the Discussion. However, it appears that If you are using the EVAL version, F5 Launches to the "you are in day x of 45 days" and does not continue properly. The Breakpoints are in solid red prior to the F5 strike, then RighEgde opens with the Nag Screen. See attached. Would appreciate knowing what other limitations the DEMO version has. Please advise Regards

| There are no limitations in the trial version. The screen you show is simply letting you know that this is a trial version, but all features are there.

What do you mean by "and does not continue properly"? You should be able to click "Continue Evaluation" and continue on. Does this not work? What happens when you click the button?
Thanks,
Daniel
