I already love this "System Progress" Box.
The percentage in build 4 is better but still not correct. My watchlist contains 12 months of 1-Min data. I work on the last month. Percentages run from 0.0% to about 75%.
Feature request: Could you add a "Number of Trades/Positions" and "Profit/Equity" field to the "System Progress" Box.
These intraday scripts run quite a while. Would be great if you could see from the progress box if something is wrong and abort instead of waiting for a useless result.

Yes, this is still a bug to be fixed before release. Feature request: Could you add a "Number of Trades/Positions" and "Profit/Equity" field to the "System Progress" Box.

What we want to do is allow you to pause the backtest, and inspect the results midstream. You would be able to resume the run or stop it if something was wrong. You would also be able to run it at various speeds... 1x, 2x, 10x, 100x, or whatever your computer can handle. In this case you would be able to watch the data come in and the charts update, etc. as if you were running a live realtime system. You could also select to run it at "Max Speed", in which case you would only the progress bar and current date would update (since updating everything in the user interface is likely to slow down the backtest). Hopefully this sounds good to you. Unfortunately it will be a while before this functionality is finished. Thanks, Daniel

Well, I am not so much interested in looking at "moving data".
All I want is the results of the last simulation as fast as possible - or - see if something is wrong even before the run finished.
No fancy graphs, just the hard numbers, sorry.
