I can't seem to find what watchlists is chosen for the strategy to run optimization against. For example, if Dow 30 is ticked, how will the optimization know which watchlist to run against to?

More specifically, how can we know which watch list so that we could record it? For example, we could save it to more descriptive named folders (like Dow 30 Output[x]) instead of currently all optimization results are saved to Output[x] folder.

Have you run a simulation? It will execute the strategy against all of the stocks in checked watch lists. That's the first step. Have you done that?

This information is not available. When running a simulation or an optimization, RightEdge passes a list of symbols to use, not the name of a watch list. There's no guarantee that the list of symbols corresponds to a watch list folder- you could select more than one folder, or individually pick symbols without selecting a full folder.

Thanks,

That makes perfect sense.

Thanks!
